Auron FX is an independent guide, not XM and not a bank. The buttons open XM through our partner link, so we may receive a commission if you open an account. We never take your money. If you have no account yet, start with how to register with XM.
Payment methods: what we can and cannot confirm
XM publishes its list of payment options inside the Members Area, and the list depends on your country and legal entity. We could not read the official payments page from our tools, so the table separates what independent reviews report from what you must check yourself. Never rely on an article, including this one, for the final list.
| Method | Availability | Minimum | Fee | Time |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bank card (Visa, Mastercard) | Reported by reviews; varies by country | Check cashier | Check cashier | Check cashier |
| Bank wire transfer | Reported by reviews | Check cashier | Your bank may charge | Usually slower than cards |
| E-wallets (Skrill, Neteller) | Reported by reviews; varies by country | Check cashier | Check cashier | Check cashier |
| Local bank or mobile methods | Not verified; depends on country | Check cashier | Check cashier | Check cashier |
| Crypto (USDT, BTC) | Not verified for every entity | Check cashier | Network fee | Depends on network |
The only minimum we can quote is a reported entry level of about $5 for the Micro, Standard and Ultra Low accounts. Individual payment methods may have their own minimums, so look at the number in the cashier.
Step-by-step: deposit into XM
- Log in to the Members Area using the real XM address, not a link from a chat.
- Complete verification first if you have not. Unverified accounts may be limited.
- Open the deposit section and select the real trading account that should receive the money.
- Look at the base currency of that account. If you pay in another currency, a conversion will happen.
- Pick a method from the list shown for you. Read its limits, fee and processing time on the same screen.
- Enter a small first amount and continue. Pay only from a card, wallet or bank account in your own name.
- Complete the payment on the provider page or in your bank app, and keep the receipt or transaction number.
- Wait for the confirmation message, then check the balance in the Members Area and in MetaTrader.
Uzbekistan, CIS and local methods
We could not verify that XM accepts Uzcard, Humo, Payme, Click or any other local card or wallet, and we do not claim it does. Availability for readers in Uzbekistan, Russia, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nigeria and Egypt depends on the entity serving you and on whether your bank allows payments to offshore brokers. Open the cashier after registering and use only what it lists. A failed payment often comes from the bank or a local rule, not from the broker. Never send money to a person who offers to deposit for you through a local card or a wallet.
Crypto deposits: network, address and risks
If your cashier lists a crypto option, follow these rules: copy the address from the cashier page itself, choose the exact network the page asks for (for example TRC20 versus ERC20 for USDT, as shown), and add a memo or tag only if the page asks for one. Sending a coin on the wrong network usually means a permanent loss, because neither XM nor the blockchain can reverse it. Send a tiny test first, and remember that network and exchange fees are yours to pay. Crypto is not available to everyone, so do not buy coins before you see the option in your cashier.
Currency conversion and hidden costs
- If your card or bank currency differs from the account base currency, somebody converts the money and takes a margin. Compare the rate shown with the market rate.
- Your bank may add card, wire or foreign-payment fees that XM never sees.
- Crypto transfers carry network and exchange fees.
- Using one account currency for both deposit and withdrawal avoids paying conversion twice.
Deposit not credited: what to do
| Problem | Likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Money left my bank, no balance | Payment still processing, bank wire delay | Wait the time shown in the cashier, then contact support with the receipt |
| Card declined | Bank blocks offshore brokers or 3-D Secure failed | Call your bank, try another method, use a card in your own name |
| Wrong account credited | Selected the wrong trading account | Ask support to move it; do not retry blindly |
| Crypto missing | Wrong network or too few confirmations | Check the transaction on the blockchain explorer, then send it to support |
| Method not listed | Not offered for your country or entity | Choose from the list shown; do not look for workarounds |
Contact support through the Members Area or the official website only, and attach the transaction ID and a screenshot. Do not pay anyone who offers to "release" a stuck deposit.
Withdrawal rules and steps
Withdrawals normally require a verified account. Many brokers, XM included according to reviews, ask you to withdraw to the same method used to deposit, up to the amount deposited, and to take profit through a method that can receive it, and the cashier shows which options apply to you. We could not confirm the official processing times, so plan for days, not minutes, and do not rely on a withdrawal for urgent bills.
- Close or reduce open positions so the withdrawal does not leave your account near a margin call.
- Open the withdrawal section of the Members Area and pick the trading account.
- Choose the method, usually the same one you used to deposit, and enter the amount.
- Check the payee details match your own name and confirm.
- Track the request status, and ask support if it is not processed within the time shown.
Be careful with bonus funds: if you accepted a bonus, conditions may affect withdrawals. Read the terms on the bonus page and in your account before you accept one.
Scam warnings
- Never pay a "manager", "mentor" or "account handler" into a personal card, wallet or crypto address. The only payment page is your cashier.
- Fake support accounts on Telegram, WhatsApp and Instagram copy the XM name. Use only the contacts inside the real website.
- Nobody can promise profit, double your deposit or "unlock" your funds for a fee.
- Do not share screen access, passwords or one-time codes.
How much should you start with?
The account may open from a very small amount, but that does not make the risk smaller. Decide the sum you could lose completely without hurting rent, food or family needs, deposit only that, and risk a small share of it per trade. Practise on a demo first (demo guide) and read risk management. For a wider view, see the funding guide for all brokers and our free honest guide. Read the XM review for regulator warnings.
Risk warning
CFDs and forex are leveraged and can lose money quickly. Most retail clients lose. Only trade money you can afford to lose and check that this broker may legally serve you. This article is education, not advice.
