How to reach Weltrade safely
Auron FX is an independent guide. It is not the official website of Weltrade, it does not hold your money, and it cannot see your trading account. The buttons on this page open Weltrade through our partner link, so Weltrade may pay us a commission if you open an account. That does not change your trading costs or the conditions Weltrade gives you.
Fake broker sites and copycat Telegram accounts are common in this market. Before you type a password, check that the address in the browser is the real Weltrade domain and that the page loads over HTTPS. Nobody from Weltrade will ask you to deposit into a personal bank account or a private wallet, and nobody should ask for your password or one-time codes.

What Weltrade is and who runs it
Weltrade is an online broker that offers forex, metals, indices, energies and other CFDs, and it also offers its own synthetic instruments on some accounts. The broker site shows a copyright period beginning in 2006, so it has been around for a long time. Some people search for it as Weltrade forex, Weltrade broker or just Weltrade login, but it is one brand.
The group uses more than one company, and the one that serves you matters. According to the legal page of the broker, Weltrade Ltd is an International Business Company registered in Saint Lucia (registration number 2023-00055), and Weltrade SA (Pty) Ltd is the South African company, which the site says is regulated by the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA). The same page says some payment methods are processed by Danoa Enterprises Ltd, a company registered in Cyprus. The page names no financial regulator for Weltrade Ltd. A Saint Lucia IBC registration is a company registration, not a financial licence. We do not quote a licence number, because the broker page does not publish one. If you want to check the FSCA status, search the register on the FSCA website yourself.
Which company holds your agreement depends on your country of residence. Read the client agreement in your Personal Area and see the exact name at the top.
Important for India: Weltrade does not accept Indian residents
This is the first thing Indian readers should know. The Weltrade legal page lists India among the countries where its services are not available, together with the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, EU member states, Russia, Belarus, Iran and North Korea. Weltrade is also named on the Reserve Bank of India Alert List of entities that are not authorised to offer forex trading to Indian residents. If you live in India, do not try to register with a foreign address or a borrowed identity. Accounts opened with false data are frozen when you try to withdraw, and trading with an unauthorised entity can create legal problems under Indian foreign-exchange rules. This page is for readers in other countries, and it is not legal advice.
Is Weltrade legit? The honest answer
Weltrade is not a fake website. It has operated for years, it has a legal page with named companies, and one group company is regulated in South Africa. But "legit" does not mean "protected", and there are several points to weigh.
- Regulation: the entity that serves most clients outside South Africa, Weltrade Ltd in Saint Lucia, has no named financial regulator. If something goes wrong, there is no local ombudsman or compensation fund that you can rely on.
- Country limits: India and several other countries are excluded, as explained above.
- Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nigeria, Egypt: we did not verify a regulator notice that names Weltrade in these countries. But unlicensed retail forex is restricted or warned about by authorities in each of them, so local protection is thin, and banks or mobile wallet providers may block payments.
- User complaints: Weltrade has about 3.9 out of 5 on Trustpilot. The complaints we see most often are slow withdrawals and delays in document verification (KYC). This is a general pattern in reviews, and not a verified rate.
Our view: Weltrade is an established offshore broker with a low entry barrier. It suits small test accounts better than large deposits, and you should assume that you are using an offshore company.
Weltrade account types and minimum deposits
Weltrade offers several account types. The minimum deposit we found is $1 for Micro, Cent, Raw and SyntX accounts, $10 for Pro and $25 for Premium. The exact list, the names and the availability depend on your country, so confirm what you see after you register.
| Account | Minimum deposit | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Micro | $1 | Small balances and small lot sizes; check the cost details on the account page |
| Cent | $1 | Balance shown in cents, useful for very small practice trades |
| Raw | $1 | Aimed at tighter spreads; commission rules are shown on the account page |
| SyntX | $1 | Synthetic instruments account; read its specific risks |
| Pro | $10 | For more active traders; check spread and commission details |
| Premium | $25 | Higher tier; check conditions on the account page |
A $1 minimum is only the lowest amount that the cashier accepts. It is not a sensible trading budget, because with such a small balance one normal move against you can close the position. Treat it as a way to test the platform, not as a plan.
Spreads, commissions and other costs
We do not publish exact spread or commission numbers for Weltrade. Different websites quote different "from" figures, and the right figure depends on the account type, the instrument and the time of day. Read the live numbers on the broker account page and in your terminal before you choose an account.
Your real cost on any broker is the spread, any commission, swap charges for positions held overnight, and the cost of moving money in and out, such as fees charged by a payment provider or a bank. Spreads widen around news releases and at market open. Our guide to spreads and swaps shows how to compare costs between brokers on the same instrument and the same day.
How to open a Weltrade account: 5 steps
- Open the registration page through the partner button on this page and select your country of residence correctly.
- Enter your email, create a strong password and confirm the email address.
- Complete the profile and upload proof of identity and proof of address for verification in your Personal Area.
- Open a demo account first and place a few test trades without real money.
- Open a real account of the type you want and deposit only an amount you can afford to lose.
A longer walkthrough is in our guide how to register with Weltrade. Use your real name and documents. Starting verification early is the best way to avoid a delay at your first withdrawal.
Deposits and withdrawals for Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nigeria and Egypt
Payment methods differ by country and can change without notice. Third-party reviews mention cards, e-wallets such as Skrill and Neteller, crypto such as USDT and Bitcoin, and local bank transfers. We could not verify which of them are open to clients in Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nigeria or Egypt, and we did not verify JazzCash, Easypaisa, bKash or Vodafone Cash for Weltrade. Treat any method you read about elsewhere as a possibility, not as a promise. Log in and use only the methods listed in your own cashier.
- Pakistan: banks may decline payments to offshore brokers, so a failed payment can come from your bank and not from Weltrade.
- Bangladesh: authorities have warned about unlicensed foreign-exchange trading, and mobile payment providers have been told to stop forex-related payments. Never send money to a personal wallet.
- Nigeria: bank transfer and USDT are often mentioned by traders. Keep records of every transfer.
- Egypt: a regulator has warned about unlicensed platforms. Choose only methods that appear in your own cashier.
Important for withdrawals: withdrawal to a bank card is not available, so a card deposit does not mean you can take the money back to the same card. Plan your withdrawal route before you deposit, and ask support in writing which methods will be available to you. Withdrawals usually have to be made by a method that the broker can verify, and the first one needs completed verification. Fees and times depend on the method. See our Weltrade deposit guide for the details.
Verification. Weltrade will ask you to confirm your identity and address before it pays out. Upload clear colour photos of a valid ID and a recent utility bill or bank statement that shows your name and address. The most common delays come from blurry images, name mismatches and documents that are too old. Many Trustpilot complaints are about KYC and withdrawal waiting times, so do not leave verification until the day you want your money.
Platforms and tools
Weltrade offers MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 for Windows, mobile and web, and it also has its own mobile app. MetaTrader is the industry standard, with expert advisors and many indicators. If you do not know which to choose, read MT4 vs MT5. Step-by-step installation help is on our Weltrade download page. Copy trading and similar services are provided by the platform itself and carry the same high risk as manual trading.
Who Weltrade suits, and who should avoid it
Weltrade may suit beginners in countries where it is accepted, who want to test a real account with a very small amount and who understand that most clients are served by an offshore company. It is a poor choice if you live in India, if you need a local regulator, or if you expect fast bank card withdrawals.
If you want to compare, look at Exness or AMarkets, and read how to choose a broker. The Weltrade bonus page explains what we could and could not confirm about promotions.
Honest disadvantages
- India is not accepted, and Weltrade is on the RBI Alert List.
- Weltrade Ltd in Saint Lucia has no named financial regulator.
- No bank card withdrawal, and payment options differ by country.
- User reviews often mention slow withdrawals and KYC delays. These are common complaints, not a verified rate.
- A $1 minimum can encourage a trader to start with a balance that is too small to survive normal price swings.
Summary
Weltrade is a long-running offshore broker with a very low entry level and the standard MetaTrader platforms. Its weak points are the lack of a named regulator for the main entity, the exclusion of India and the complaints about withdrawals. Start with a demo, read the legal documents for your own entity, verify your account early, and never deposit money that you need for rent or food.

Risk warning: Forex and CFDs are complex instruments and carry a high risk of losing money quickly because of leverage. A large share of retail clients lose money, so check the percentage disclosed by your broker. Trade only with money you can afford to lose. This page is general information, not financial or legal advice, and you must be at least 18. Check the laws in your own country before opening an account.
