Before you register: three checks
Auron FX is an independent guide. We are not the official FBS website, we do not hold your money and we cannot see your account. The buttons on this page use our partner link, so FBS may pay us if you open an account. It does not change your trading costs. Before you create anything, check these points.
- Is it a good idea in your country? FBS appears on the Reserve Bank of India Alert List, so Indian residents face legal risk under local foreign-exchange rules. It is not locally regulated in Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nigeria or Egypt. Read our FBS review for the details.
- Which company serves you? FBS is one brand with several legal entities. Clients from many emerging markets are usually served by an offshore company reported to be supervised in Belize, which gives less protection than a top-tier regulator. The exact company is named in the client agreement shown in your account. Check that name on the regulator's own register.
- Is the page real? Fake copies of broker sites are common, and clone sites using the FBS name have already been blocked by at least one regulator. Type the address yourself or use a link you trust. Never register through a link sent by a stranger on Telegram or WhatsApp.
What you need ready
- A personal email address that only you control. FBS uses it for the confirmation link, for notifications and later for security codes.
- A phone number you can use for one-time codes. FBS says you confirm withdrawals with a code sent by email or SMS, depending on the method you choose.
- A colour copy of your passport or another government photo ID, with every corner and line readable.
- A proof of address. FBS asks for it but its help page does not list the accepted types, so expect a recent utility bill or bank statement and confirm the list on the verification page.
- Your real name, spelled the same way on every document.
Use only your own email and phone. FBS states that each client may have only one Trader Area, and accounts opened with someone else's details are a common cause of frozen withdrawals.
The registration steps
- Open the FBS registration page through the button below and press Open an account (top right corner of the site).
- Choose how to register: with a social network, or manually. We describe the manual way, because it keeps your login separate from your social accounts.
- Enter a valid email address and your full name exactly as on your ID. FBS needs the same name for verification and withdrawals. If the form has an optional field that you do not understand, leave it empty.
- Press Register as Trader. FBS shows a generated temporary password. You can use it, but change it to your own strong password at once, and store it in a password manager.
- Open your inbox and click the confirmation link. FBS asks you to open it in the same browser where your Trader Area is open. If the email does not arrive, check spam and the spelling of the address. While the email is unconfirmed you can correct it yourself, afterwards the change goes through support.
- Back in the Trader Area, open your first trading account (next section). Do not deposit yet.
Open the FBS registration page
FBS also has a mobile app, which lets you manage accounts. Our FBS download page shows what is available for your device.
Open a demo or real trading account
After the email is confirmed you are asked to open a trading account. FBS says real and demo accounts have the same trading conditions. On the opening screen you choose:
- The account type. The names offered depend on your country and change over time.
- The MetaTrader version: MT4 or MT5. Our MT4 vs MT5 guide explains the difference.
- The account currency. Pick the one you will actually deposit and withdraw in, because changing it later is difficult.
- The leverage. For a demo account you can also set a starting balance.
When you finish, FBS shows your account number (the MetaTrader login), the trading password and the server name. Save all three in a safe place, because you need them to log in to MT4 or MT5. To add another account later, click your account number in the Trader Area (or in the app) and choose + Add new account. Without verification and at least 100 USD of total deposits you can open only one MT4 and one MT5 account. After both conditions are met you can open up to ten on each platform.
Account types and how to choose
FBS advertises one headline set of conditions: a 5 USD minimum deposit, spreads from 0.7 pips and no commission. The official pages we could open do not give a full table of every account type. Third-party reviews describe the family below, but their minimums disagree with each other, so treat the right-hand column as a guide to confirm in your own account.
| Account type (as reported) | Who it is for | Cost model | Minimum deposit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cent | Beginners with a very small balance | Spread, trading in cent lots | Reported very low; confirm in your account |
| Standard | Most new traders | Spread, no commission on the official "from" conditions | Official headline: from 5 USD (varies by payment method) |
| Zero Spread | Short-term traders | Very low spread plus commission | Reported much higher; confirm |
| ECN | Experienced traders | Raw-style spread plus commission | Reported highest; confirm |
The platforms are MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5. The exact minimums depend on your country, so the screen you see after registering is the only reliable source.
Beginner advice: open a demo account first, then a small real account. If a Cent type is offered, it lets you practise with real money in tiny size. Choose low leverage even if the screen allows much more. FBS advertises leverage up to 1:3000, and that mostly shortens the time it takes for a small balance to disappear. See lots, pips and leverage and spread, commission and swap.
Verification (KYC)
FBS says you must verify your profile before you can withdraw, and full verification is also what lifts transaction limits. Do it before you deposit, not when you want your money back.
- Press Get verified on the Deposit page, or open the verification link in your Trader Area.
- Select the type and the issuing country of your identity document.
- Enter your details exactly as they appear on the documents.
- Upload colour copies of your passport or government photo ID and your proof of address. Accepted formats are JPG, PNG, HEIC, WEBP and PDF, up to 50 MB in total.
- Press Continue and follow the status on the Verification page. You also get an email when the request is accepted or rejected.
FBS does not publish an exact review time, only that requests are considered shortly after submission. Plan for hours or a few days.
Why verification gets rejected, and how to fix it
- Blurry or cropped file: take a new colour photo in daylight, show all four corners and avoid glare.
- Name mismatch: the name in the Trader Area must match the ID. Fix the profile or use a document with the correct spelling.
- Old or expired document: use a valid ID and a recent address proof.
- Screenshot instead of the document: upload the original scan or photo.
If the reason is unclear, write to support from inside your account or through the live chat on the official site, never through a stranger on social media.
Security settings
- Replace the temporary password with a unique one and never reuse it.
- Do not share your ID photos, your registered email, the phone that receives codes, your PIN or your confirmation codes with anyone, including people who say they are FBS staff.
- Log out on shared computers or use a private window, and lock your screen when you leave.
- Use only the official FBS app and website for money. FBS states that none of its representatives collects deposits on its behalf.
- Do not open links from unknown sources, and do not let anyone "manage" your account.
Common problems and fixes
| Problem | Likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| No confirmation email | Typo in the address or spam filter | Check spam; correct the email in the Trader Area while unconfirmed |
| Link does not confirm | Opened in a different browser | Open the link in the browser where your Trader Area is open |
| Site does not open | Local restriction or a fake address | Do not use unknown proxies or mirror links; ask official support which address is valid |
| Verification rejected | Blurry file, name mismatch, old document | Upload a clear colour copy and match the name |
| Cannot open more accounts | Not verified or under 100 USD in total deposits | Verify and deposit, or keep one account per platform |
| Forgot the trading password | Not saved after opening | Use the reset option in the Trader Area |
Beware of anyone who offers to register for you, rent you a verified account or share one with you for a share of profit. Register yourself and keep your own login.
After registration: first safe steps
- Log in to MT4 or MT5 with the demo account and practise for a few weeks. See how to use a demo account.
- Complete verification so withdrawals are not delayed later.
- Read how to deposit and withdraw with FBS before you send money, and start with a small amount.
- Write a risk limit with risk management. For a wider comparison of brokers, see how to open a forex account.
- Download our free Trading for profit: the honest guide to learn the basics.
Risk warning
Opening an account is easy and trading is risky. Forex and CFDs are complex, leveraged products and most retail clients lose money. FBS carries regulator warnings in some countries, and offshore clients may have limited legal protection. Trade only with money you can afford to lose entirely, and only if you are 18 or older.
