What you can download
RoboForex works with several trading platforms. Which one you need depends on the account you opened. Auron FX is independent and not the official RoboForex site, so the download buttons below send you to the broker's own platform area through our partner link.
- MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and MetaTrader 5 (MT5) for Windows, Mac, Android and iPhone. Most Pro, ProCent, Prime and ECN accounts use one of them.
- R Trader, the broker's own terminal for forex and CFD accounts.
- R MobileTrader, a mobile app for trading and account control, with CopyFX copy-trading access.
- R StocksTrader, a separate platform for shares and ETFs, available on web and mobile. It is not MetaTrader.
RoboForex app for Android
Open Google Play on your phone, search for the platform name (for example MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5 or R MobileTrader) and check the developer name before you install. MetaTrader is published by MetaQuotes. The broker apps are published under the RoboForex or RoboMarkets name. A safer route is to start from your personal cabinet, where the links point to the right store listing.
If your phone blocks a store listing in your country, you may be offered an installation file (APK) on the broker's official site. Use it only if you opened that site yourself, never from a file sent in a chat, forum or video description. Keep "install unknown apps" switched off for browsers and messengers once you finish.
RoboForex app for iPhone and iPad
On iPhone, install MetaTrader 4 or 5 and the RoboForex apps from the App Store. Search by the exact name, check the publisher, and read the risk text on the listing. The R MobileTrader and R StocksTrader listings are published under the RoboForex group. If an app does not appear in your regional App Store, use the web terminal in a browser rather than a profile or a file from an unknown source.
MT4 and MT5: install and choose the server
The most common reason a login fails is a wrong server. A RoboForex trading account belongs to one server, and you must choose it exactly. The server name is in the welcome email and in your personal cabinet next to the account number. Follow these steps:
- Install MetaTrader 4 or MetaTrader 5 from the cabinet, the official site, or a store listing by MetaQuotes.
- Open the app and choose Login to an existing account, or File and Login to Trade Account on a computer.
- Search for RoboForex in the server list and select the exact server named in your cabinet.
- Enter the account number as login and the trading password, not your cabinet password.
- Check that the connection icon shows live prices before you place any order.

Windows, Mac and web terminal
For Windows, download the MetaTrader installer from your cabinet and run it. Mac users can use MetaTrader 5 for macOS if offered or the web terminal. The web terminals need only a browser, which is useful if you cannot install software on a work computer. Always sign out on shared computers.

Using a demo account in the app
Open a demo account before the first live deposit. It uses virtual money and shows how spreads, lots and stop losses behave. Practise opening and closing a trade, setting a stop loss and a take profit, and reading the margin level. Demo prices can differ a little from live execution, especially at news time, so do not treat demo results as a promise of live results.
Common errors and quick fixes
- Invalid account. Check the account number, the trading password and the server name. A password change in the cabinet may need a separate trading-password reset.
- No connection. Check your internet, try another network, then pick the server again. Some mobile providers block certain ports, so try Wi-Fi.
- Server not in the list. Update the app, then use Search with the exact server name from your cabinet. If it is still missing, contact the broker's support through the cabinet.
- Wrong platform for the account. An MT4 account cannot log in to MT5, and the reverse is also true. Create the right account type in the cabinet.
- Trade disabled or market closed. Check the trading hours of the instrument and that your account is verified and funded as required.
- App crashes or freezes. Update to the latest version, restart the device, and reinstall from the store as a last step.
First steps after installing the app
Open a chart of one instrument you know, such as EUR/USD or gold, and look at the bid and ask prices. The gap between them is the spread. Try the order window on the demo account, set a stop loss and a take profit, and close the trade. Learn what a lot is before you use real money: a larger lot size multiplies profit and loss together. Keeping the platform up to date
Update MetaTrader and the broker apps when the store offers a new version. Old versions can lose connection, miss new server addresses or show wrong order buttons. Before you update, close open charts you do not need, and never update from a link in a message. After a Windows or Android system update, open the app once on demo to confirm that it still connects, that your saved templates load and that notifications work. If you use an expert advisor, test it again on a demo account after each update, because a change can alter how it behaves.
A note on CopyFX
CopyFX lets you subscribe to another trader's results inside the RoboForex ecosystem. It is a platform service, not advice from us. Followed traders can lose money fast, and fees may apply. Never follow a trader because someone in a chat said so; look at the full history and risk, and start with a small amount.
Download safety
Install only from official stores, from your personal cabinet or from the official RoboForex website. Do not install "modified", "cracked" or "hack" RoboForex apps, "auto-profit" robots or signal bots shared in groups. They are a common way to steal passwords and money. If someone asks you to share your screen, install remote-control software or give your trading password, stop at once.
Get the RoboForex apps and MetaTrader
Risk warning: Forex and CFDs are high-risk products. Leverage can magnify losses as well as gains, and most retail traders lose money. Trade only with money you can afford to lose, and only if you are 18 or older. Installing an app does not make trading safer.
