What you can download
Auron FX is an independent guide, not the official FBS website. FBS offers three things to install: the FBS app, MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and MetaTrader 5 (MT5). The official site lists MetaTrader for iOS, Android, macOS and Windows, and the FBS app for mobile, including an APK file for Android. The FBS app is built for account management, deposits, withdrawals and quick trading. MetaTrader is the full trading platform with charts, indicators and expert advisors.
You need a registered FBS account first. If you do not have one, open it through our partner link and then continue with the steps below. A demo account works in both MetaTrader and the app, so you can test everything without risking money.
FBS app for Android
The safest way is Google Play. Search for the FBS app, check that the developer name matches the one shown on the official FBS site, and install it. FBS also offers an APK file on its own website for phones that cannot use Google Play. If you use an APK, download it only from the official FBS domain that you reached from your own account, and allow installation only for that single file. Do not install APK files sent in Telegram groups, WhatsApp chats or YouTube comments, because modified apps can steal passwords.
For MetaTrader on Android, install "MetaTrader 4" or "MetaTrader 5" from Google Play. These are made by MetaQuotes, and you add the FBS server inside the app. We explain that in the MT4 and MT5 section below.
FBS app for iPhone and iPad
On iPhone, install the FBS app from the App Store, and MetaTrader 4 or 5 from the same store. Availability of apps depends on the country setting of your Apple ID, so if you cannot see the app, check your App Store region or use the web version and the MetaTrader app instead. Never install an iPhone app through a profile or a link sent by a stranger.
MT4 and MT5: install and choose the server
MetaTrader does not know which broker you use until you add the broker server. A wrong server is the most common reason that login fails, so follow the steps carefully.
- Install MetaTrader 4 or MetaTrader 5 from the official store or from the link inside your FBS account.
- Open the app and choose "Login to an existing account" or "Add account".
- Search for "FBS" and select the server whose name matches the one in your FBS account or in the email you received after opening the account.
- Enter your trading account number (the login) and the trading password, which is not the same as your website password.
- Check that the connection indicator is on and that quotes are moving. If you see "No connection", go to the error list below.
Real and demo accounts use different servers. If you open a real account and pick a demo server, the login will fail with "Invalid account". MT4 and MT5 are not interchangeable either: an account opened for MT4 will not log in on MT5. Our MT4 vs MT5 guide explains which one to choose.
Windows, Mac and web access
For Windows, download the MetaTrader installer from your FBS account or from the link given by FBS, and run it. Mac users can use the macOS version listed on the official site. FBS also lists VPS hosting for traders who run expert advisors around the clock, which is useful because a home computer that sleeps or loses its connection will stop an automated strategy.

Using a demo account in the app
Open a demo account before you use real money. In the FBS app and in your account area you can create a demo with virtual funds, and in MetaTrader you can also open a demo from the login screen. Use it for at least a few weeks to learn how to place an order, set a stop loss and a take profit, and close a trade. The demo is not perfect: prices and execution can feel easier than live trading, and emotions are different when real money is at risk.
Common errors and quick fixes
- Invalid account: the login, password or server is wrong, or you chose a demo server for a real account. Copy the details from your account page and check the server name.
- No connection: check your internet, try mobile data instead of Wi-Fi, and scan the server list again. A VPN or a slow public network can cause this.
- Server not in the list: update MetaTrader, then use the search box with the exact server name from your account.
- App will not install from APK: allow the installation for that one file only, free some storage, and make sure your Android version is supported.
- Trading disabled or market closed: the market is closed (weekend), or the account is not yet verified or funded. Check the status in your account.
- Orders rejected: the lot size, margin or stop level does not fit the account. Reduce the size and check the free margin.
If nothing works, contact FBS support through your own account, not through a number found on social media.
First steps after installing the app
Log in to the demo, open a chart of one instrument you know, such as EUR/USD or gold, and look at the bid and ask prices. The difference is the spread. Try the order window on the demo account, set a stop loss and a take profit, and close the trade again. Our risk management guide explains how to decide how much to risk per trade. A common rule is to risk only a small fraction of your balance on one idea.
Keep leverage low even when the account allows a very high level. The FBS site advertises leverage up to 1:3000, but a larger leverage only makes your position bigger relative to your balance, not safer.
Download safety
- Install only from Google Play, the App Store or links inside your own FBS account.
- "Hacked", "modded" or "premium" FBS apps do not exist as legitimate products. They are a common way to steal accounts.
- Do not share your trading password, your one-time codes or screenshots of your account with anyone who offers "help".
- Enable two-step protection on your email, since email access is a route into your broker account.
- Be careful with clone sites. Authorities in Turkey have blocked a domain imitating the FBS name, so the real login page is worth checking twice.
