Before you start: who we are and how the links work
Auron FX is an independent guide, not RoboForex and not a broker. The buttons on this page open RoboForex through our partner link, so RoboForex may pay us a commission if you open an account. It does not change your trading costs. We describe the process from the broker's public materials and third-party reviews. We could not open every official page ourselves, so wherever a detail may differ for your country, we say so. Always trust what you see on your own screen.
What to check before you register
RoboForex serves clients through more than one company in its group. Clients from most emerging markets, including Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Nigeria, Egypt and Central Asia, are normally served by RoboForex Ltd, an offshore company with a Belize licence. A separate European company in the group trades under the RoboMarkets name and is regulated in the EU. It is not the same account. The broker also states it does not accept clients from some countries, such as the USA, Canada, Japan and Australia. The country you pick in the form decides which entity and which conditions you get, so choose your real country of residence.
- Offshore means thinner protection. Read our RoboForex review for the licence and risk facts before you deposit.
- Legal position. Check whether online forex trading with a foreign broker is allowed where you live. In India, for example, overseas margin trading is restricted under foreign exchange rules, so take advice first.
- Real domain. Fake clones copy broker sites. Type the address yourself or use a bookmark, check the padlock, and never register through a link from a chat or an ad.
What you need ready
- A personal email address that only you read.
- A mobile number that can receive SMS in your country.
- A passport, national ID card or driving licence, photographed clearly.
- A proof of address no more than about three months old, such as a utility bill or bank statement showing your name and address. Check the exact age limit in the verification section of your account.
- A payment method in your own name for the first deposit.
Step-by-step registration
- Open the registration page. Use the button below or type the RoboForex address yourself, then click Register or Open account.
- Fill in the form. The sign-up form asks for your country of residence, your name, your email and your phone number, and asks you to set a password. Use your name exactly as it appears on your ID. Mismatched names are the number one cause of verification delays.
- Choose a strong password. Make it long and unique, and do not reuse your email password. This is the password for the Members Area, which is the personal cabinet where you manage everything.
- Skip what you do not understand. Leave optional fields you do not understand empty. Tick the terms box only after you have opened and read the client agreement and the risk warning.
- Submit. You are taken to your Members Area. At this point you have a profile, but not yet a trading account.
- Confirm email and phone. Open the email and click the confirmation link, then enter the SMS code. If the message does not arrive, check spam and wait a few minutes before asking for a new one.
- Complete the profile. The Members Area asks for personal details such as date of birth and address. Enter them exactly as on your documents.
- Open a trading account. Inside the Members Area, choose to create a new account, pick the platform and account type, and set the currency and leverage (details below). Write down the account number, trading password and server name.

Email and phone confirmation problems
Codes sometimes arrive late because of network operators. Do not request ten codes in a row, because that can lock the form for a while. If a number is rejected, check the country code and remove spaces and the leading zero. If your email provider is slow, use another mailbox you can open at once. Never forward a confirmation code to anyone, including people who say they work for the broker.
RoboForex account types
As of our research, RoboForex lists five main live account types. The numbers below come from third-party reviews and the broker's public product line. Official pages could not be loaded during our check, so treat the figures as indications and confirm them in your Members Area, because they depend on your country and entity and change over time.
| Account | Platforms | Typical minimum (reported) | Cost model |
|---|---|---|---|
| ProCent | MT4, MT5 | About 10 USD in reviews | Cent account: balances and lots are counted in cents; spread-based |
| Pro | MT4, MT5 | About 10 USD in reviews | Floating spread, reported from about 1.3 pips on EUR/USD, no commission |
| Prime | MT4, MT5 | Check Members Area | Low raw spread plus a per-lot commission |
| ECN | MT4, MT5 | Check Members Area | Spreads from near zero plus a per-lot commission |
| R StocksTrader | R StocksTrader (not MetaTrader) | Reviews report about 100 USD | Shares and ETFs on a separate platform; fees shown in the platform |
How to choose. If you are a complete beginner, open a demo first. When you go live, ProCent is the gentlest way to learn how real money feels, because the position sizes are tiny. Pro is the simple standard account. Prime and ECN make sense only after you understand that a lower spread plus a commission may not be cheaper for your style. R StocksTrader is for buying shares and ETFs, which is a different product from forex. Read spread, commission and swap to compare costs properly.
Platform, leverage and currency
Platform. MetaTrader 4 is simpler and has a huge library of indicators and robots. MetaTrader 5 has more timeframes and order types. Our MT4 vs MT5 guide helps you decide. Getting the terminal is covered on the RoboForex download page.
Leverage. Leverage figures quoted online range widely and depend on the entity, the account and the instrument. A higher number does not make you richer; it makes each mistake bigger. Beginners should pick a low or moderate leverage in the account settings and size trades by risk, as explained in lots and leverage.
Currency. The account currency is usually fixed when you create the account. USD is the common choice. Reviews say deposits may be limited to certain currencies, so check which ones your cashier offers. If your bank card is in another currency, expect a conversion at your bank, which has a cost.
Verification (KYC): documents, time and fixes
Brokers must confirm who their clients are. At RoboForex you do this in the Members Area, normally with two documents: an identity document and a proof of address. Third-party guides mention image or PDF files up to a few megabytes; the exact formats and size limit are shown in the upload screen.
- Photograph all four corners of the document, in daylight, without glare or filters.
- Names and addresses must match the profile, letter for letter, including the Latin spelling of your name.
- Use a document in your own name. A family member's bill is a common reason for rejection.
- Timing. Reviews describe anything from a few hours to a few working days. Weekends and holidays slow it down.
If a document is rejected, read the reason, correct exactly that problem and resubmit. Do not open a second profile, because duplicate accounts break the terms and can freeze funds. Verification matters because you generally cannot withdraw until it is complete.
Security settings to switch on
- Turn on the extra login protection offered in the Members Area settings, such as SMS or authenticator confirmation.
- Keep the Members Area password and the trading-account (MetaTrader) password different. They are separate passwords for separate things.
- Never give the investor or trading password to a "manager" or a signal channel.
- Log in only from the real address or the bookmark. Sign out on shared computers.
Common errors and fixes
| Problem | Likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| No confirmation email | Spam folder, typo in the address | Check spam, confirm the address, request one new message |
| SMS code not arriving | Wrong country code, operator delay | Re-enter the number in international format and wait before retrying |
| Document rejected | Blur, cropped edges, name mismatch | Retake in daylight, show all corners, match profile data |
| Cannot log in to MetaTrader | Used Members Area password or wrong server | Use account number, trading password and the exact server |
| Country not accepted | Restricted jurisdiction | Do not try to hide your country; choose another broker via our account-opening hub |
| Account blocked later | False data or duplicate profile | Contact official support from inside the Members Area |

Risk warning: Forex and CFDs are complex, high-risk products. Leverage can magnify losses as well as gains, and most retail traders lose money. Trade only with money you can afford to lose and only if you are 18 or older. This page is information, not financial advice.
