Before you register: three checks
Auron FX is an independent guide. We are not the official website of AMarkets, we do not hold your money and we cannot see your account. The buttons on this page open AMarkets through our partner link, so the broker may pay us a commission if you open an account. It does not change your trading costs.
- Is your country allowed? AMarkets publishes a page of restricted countries where it provides no services. In our check it included Russia, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, Iran, Armenia, Nepal and Mongolia, among others. Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Belarus, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nigeria and Egypt were not on it. Older help pages show slightly different lists, so read the current page on the official site before you start.
- Which entity serves you? The group works through several offshore entities. The site footer lists AMarkets LTD under Mwali licence T2023284 (Comoros) and company registrations in the Cook Islands and in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. These are not licences from a major regulator, so protection is limited. Read our AMarkets review for the risks.
- Is the site real? Type the address yourself or use a link you trust. Fake brokers copy names, and "managers" on Telegram or WhatsApp sometimes send fake registration links.
India has its own foreign-exchange rules for retail residents. AMarkets was not on the Reserve Bank of India Alert List in our research, but that is not a licence, so check the law that applies to you.
What you need ready
- A valid email address that only you control.
- A phone number that can receive a confirmation message.
- A passport (internal or international) or national ID card. The official help page lists these three document types.
- A phone or computer with a working camera. The identity check takes a live photo of the document.
- For withdrawals later: proof that each card or e-wallet you deposit with is yours (see the verification section below).
Use your real name and your own documents. Accounts opened with false data are normally frozen when you try to withdraw.
The registration steps
AMarkets calls its client area the Personal Area. You log in to it from the Login button on the website. The exact order of fields can change, so follow what the form shows, but the official first-steps page describes the flow like this.
- Open the registration page through the button below, or use the AMarkets mobile app from Google Play or the App Store. Choose your country of residence carefully. It decides the legal entity and available payment methods.
- Enter a valid email address and phone number, and create a strong password that you do not use anywhere else.
- Read and accept the client agreement only after checking which company it names. Leave optional fields that you do not understand empty.
- Open the email from AMarkets and confirm the address. If it does not arrive, check the spam folder and wait a few minutes before asking for another one.
- Enter the code sent to your phone to confirm the number.
- Log in to the Personal Area and go to your profile to start identity verification (next section).
- Open a trading account: first a demo, then a live one.

Registering twice is a bad idea. Duplicate profiles can break the client agreement and cause trouble at withdrawal. If you already have a profile, log in and open a new trading account inside it.
Account types: Standard, ECN and Zero
The official account pages show three main live accounts. Figures can change, so confirm them in your Personal Area before you deposit.
| Account | Min. deposit | Spread | Commission | Platforms |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | $100 | Floating, from 1.3 pips | None on currency pairs, metals and indices | MT4, MT5 |
| ECN | $200 | Floating, from 0.2 pips | $2.5 per side per lot (EUR/USD) | MT4, MT5 |
| Zero | $200 | Floating, from 0 pips | $5.5 per side per lot (EUR/USD) | MT5 only |
Other facts from the Standard page: market execution, lots from 0.01, account currency USD, stop-out 20% and negative balance protection. The site also offers a free demo account, Islamic accounts and a copy trading account. Some help pages quote the first deposit as "$100 or 100 euro", so check which currencies your Personal Area offers when you open the account. Ask support for the written terms of an Islamic account, because the public page does not explain them.
How to choose as a beginner
- Standard is the simplest: no commission on forex pairs and the lowest entry deposit. A good place to start with a small amount.
- ECN has tighter spreads but a commission on every trade. It can be cheaper for frequent traders, but only if the numbers work for your pair, so compare the total cost.
- Zero targets very low spreads and works on MT5 only. Test the real spreads on a demo before you pay for it.
Maximum leverage is shown as "up to 1:3000". That is a danger sign, not a feature. Use far lower leverage in practice, as explained in lots and leverage.
Platform, leverage and currency choices
When you open a live account you pick the type and the platform (MetaTrader 4 or MetaTrader 5). MT5 has more order types and timeframes, MT4 has a large library of indicators and robots. If you are unsure, read MT4 vs MT5. The Zero account is available only on MT5. A web terminal works in the browser without installation, and the AMarkets mobile app works with MT5 accounts. Installation help is on the AMarkets download page. Set the leverage low if the form lets you choose.
Identity verification (KYC)
AMarkets says you must confirm your email and phone and then verify your personal data before you can deposit. Payment methods are verified separately before you withdraw.
- Log in to your Personal Area, open your profile, go to Documents and choose to add a new document.
- Choose to continue on this device or switch to your phone by scanning the QR code on the screen.
- Allow the camera, photograph the document clearly and scan the back side if the document type needs it.
- Type your first name, last name, date of birth and gender exactly as they appear on the document, then continue.
The official page says the document and your details are checked automatically within a few minutes. It does not list rejection reasons, so these are likely causes based on how automatic checks work:
- Blurry or cropped photos, glare, or a corner cut off. Retake the photo in daylight on a plain background.
- A name or date typed differently from the document. Copy it exactly, including the order of names.
- An expired document. Use a valid one.
If the check fails twice, contact support from the Contacts page of the official site and do not send documents through chat links from strangers.
Payment method verification
Before a withdrawal, every card or e-wallet that you used to deposit must be verified in the Finance section, under Payment method verification. The help pages for e-wallets ask for screenshots of the wallet profile with details that match your Personal Area. Cryptocurrency wallets need no such verification. Do this when you deposit, not on the day you need the money. The details are in the AMarkets deposit and withdrawal guide.
Security settings
- Use a password you use nowhere else and store it in a password manager.
- Turn on any two-step verification the Personal Area offers, and prefer an authenticator app to SMS where possible.
- Note that the Personal Area password and the MetaTrader trading password are different things.
- Never give passwords or one-time codes to a "manager", a support agent or a trading group.
- Log in only by typing the address or using the official app, never from links in messages.
Common errors and fixes
| Problem | Likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Cannot register or country not accepted | Your country is on the restricted list | Check the official restricted countries page. Do not hide your location; it breaks the agreement. |
| Email does not arrive | Spam filter or a typo | Check spam, confirm the spelling, wait a few minutes and request it again. |
| Phone code does not arrive | Wrong number format or an operator delay | Check the country code, try again later or contact support. |
| Document check fails | Poor photo or details differ from the ID | Retake the photo and retype details exactly as printed. |
| Cannot deposit | Verification not finished | Complete the Documents step first. |
| MT4 login rejected on Zero | Zero is MT5 only | Install MT5 and use the server from your account. |
| Cannot see the app in the store | Store region | Use the web terminal or the Android install from the official site. |

Risk warning: Forex and CFDs are complex instruments and carry a high risk of losing money quickly because of leverage. Many retail traders lose money. Trade only with money you can afford to lose. This page is general information, not financial or legal advice, and you must be at least 18. Check the laws of your own country before you open an account.
