How to reach Exness safely
Auron FX is an independent guide. It is not the official website of Exness, it does not hold your money, and it cannot see your trading account. The buttons on this page open Exness through our partner link, so Exness may pay us a commission if you open an account. That does not change your trading costs, and it does not change the conditions Exness gives you.
Fake broker sites are common in this market. Before you type a password, check that the address in the browser is the real Exness domain, that the page loads over HTTPS, and that nobody on Telegram or WhatsApp asked you to send money to a personal account. Exness will never ask you to deposit into a private person's wallet or to share your password or one-time codes.

What Exness is and who runs it
Exness is an online broker for forex, metals, energies, stock indices, cryptocurrency CFDs and a small number of other instruments. The company was founded in 2008 and serves clients in many countries from several group entities. People search for it with many spellings, such as Exnes or Eksness, but it is one brand.
Which Exness company serves you depends on where you live. Clients from many emerging markets are usually onboarded by an offshore entity, commonly reported as Exness (SC) Ltd under the Seychelles Financial Services Authority. Other group companies hold licences in places such as Cyprus, the United Kingdom, South Africa, the British Virgin Islands and Curaçao, but those entities mainly serve their own regions. Always read the legal documents in your own Personal Area to see the exact company name on your agreement, and check any licence number on the regulator's own public register, not on a review site.
Is Exness legit? The honest answer
Exness is not a fake website. It has operated for many years, it is licensed in several jurisdictions, and millions of retail accounts have been opened with it. At the same time, "legit" does not mean "safe from regulators' warnings", and you should know the main ones before you deposit.
- India: Exness appears on the Reserve Bank of India Alert List (entry no. 6 in the November 2025 version of the list), which names entities that are not authorised to offer forex trading to Indian residents. If you live in India, treat this as a serious legal risk under local foreign-exchange rules.
- Philippines: In January 2026 the Philippine SEC published an advisory saying Exness Global Ltd was not licensed there and that promoting it could carry criminal liability. If you run a website or social channel, this applies to promoters too.
- Pakistan: Secondary sources report that the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority included Exness in a public warning in late 2024. The State Bank and SECP do not license offshore retail forex brokers, so you would have no local regulator to complain to.
- Bangladesh, Nigeria, Egypt: We did not find a regulator notice that names Exness in these countries. But unlicensed forex trading is restricted or warned about in each of them, so local protection is thin.
Our view: Exness is a large, established offshore broker with real risks that depend on your country. If you trade, you accept that you are using an offshore company and that local courts and regulators may not help you.
Exness account types
Exness usually groups accounts into two families: Standard accounts for beginners and Professional accounts for experienced traders. The names and details can change, and not every type is open in every country, so confirm what you see after registering.
| Account | Typical profile | Costs |
|---|---|---|
| Standard / Standard Cent | Beginners, small balances, practising with small lot sizes | Wider variable spread, normally no separate commission |
| Pro | Active traders who want tighter spreads | Spread only, higher entry level; check the cashier |
| Zero | Scalping and short-term strategies on selected instruments | Very low spread plus commission |
| Raw Spread | Traders who prefer a raw spread plus fixed commission | Raw spread plus commission per lot |
We do not publish exact spread or commission numbers, because they change by instrument, time of day and country, and they should be read from the live terminal. If a website promises one fixed "Exness spread" for every client, treat it with caution.
Spreads, commissions and other costs
Your real cost on any broker is the spread, any commission, swap charges for positions held overnight, and the cost of moving money in and out. On Standard accounts the cost is mostly in the spread. On Zero and Raw Spread accounts you pay a small spread plus a commission per lot.
Gold, major currency pairs and indices often show the tightest spreads. Spreads widen around news releases and at market open, which is normal on any broker. Read our guide on spreads and swaps to learn how to compare costs between brokers fairly. Swap-free accounts are offered in some regions for clients who need them for religious reasons, and eligibility depends on your country.
How to open an Exness account: 5 steps
- Open the registration page through the partner button on this page and choose your country of residence correctly.
- Enter your email, create a strong password and confirm the email address.
- Complete the profile and verification in your Personal Area. Expect to upload proof of identity and proof of address.
- Open a demo account first, and try the platform and a few small test trades without real money.
- Open a real account of the type you want and deposit only an amount you can afford to lose.
A more detailed walkthrough is in our guide how to register with Exness. Use your real name and documents. Accounts opened with false data or someone else's identity are usually frozen at withdrawal time.
Deposits and withdrawals for Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nigeria and Egypt
Payment options differ by country and can change without notice. Third-party sites mention local bank transfers, mobile wallets such as JazzCash and Easypaisa for Pakistan, USDT for several countries, and cards or wallets such as Skrill. We could not verify these on Exness's own pages, so treat them as possibilities, not promises. Open the cashier after logging in and use only the methods listed there for your account.
- Pakistan: bank transfer, mobile wallets and USDT are the methods most often reported. Banks may decline payments to offshore brokers, so a failed payment can come from your bank and not from Exness.
- Bangladesh: Bangladesh Bank has warned about unlicensed foreign-exchange trading, and mobile payment providers have been told to stop forex-related payments. Check what works in your cashier and do not send money to personal wallets.
- Nigeria: bank transfer and USDT are commonly mentioned. Keep records of every transfer.
- Egypt: The Financial Regulatory Authority issued a general warning about unlicensed platforms in May 2026. Choose methods that appear in your own cashier.
Withdrawals normally go back to the same method you used to deposit, up to the amount you deposited, and profits can go to the same or another verified method. Processing time depends on the method and on the bank or network. For more detail, read our Exness deposit guide.
Verification. Exness will ask you to confirm your identity and address before you can withdraw. This is standard anti-money-laundering practice. Upload clear colour photos of a valid ID and a recent utility bill or bank statement with your name and address. The most common delays come from blurry images, mismatched names, or documents that are too old. If a rejection message is unclear, contact support from inside your Personal Area.
Platforms and tools
Exness offers MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5, its own web-based Exness Terminal, and the Exness Trade mobile app for account management and quick trading. MetaTrader is the industry standard, with expert advisors and many indicators. If you do not know which to pick, read MT4 vs MT5. You can also get step-by-step help on our Exness download page.
Who Exness suits, and who should avoid it
Exness may suit traders who want a large broker, both MetaTrader versions and several account types, and who understand that they are using an offshore company. It is a poor choice if you live in India, where it is on the Alert List, if you are looking for a deposit bonus, or if you need the protection of a local regulator.
If you would rather compare, look at Weltrade or AMarkets, and read how to choose a broker. You can also check the Exness bonus page to see why there is no deposit bonus.
Honest disadvantages
- Regulatory warnings in India and the Philippines, and a reported warning in Pakistan.
- No local licence in the main South Asian and African markets, so complaints have to go through Exness and offshore channels.
- No deposit bonus.
- Payment options differ by country, and banks sometimes block payments to offshore brokers.
- Users' reviews often mention verification delays and requests for extra documents. These are common complaints, not a verified rate.
Summary
Exness is a well-known offshore broker with good technology and flexible account types, and also a broker with regulatory warnings that you must take seriously. Start with a demo, read the legal documents for your own entity, verify early, and never deposit money that you need for rent or food.

Risk warning: Forex and CFDs are complex instruments and carry a high risk of losing money quickly because of leverage. A large share of retail clients lose money, so check the percentage disclosed by your broker. Trade only with money you can afford to lose. This page is general information, not financial or legal advice, and you must be at least 18. Check the laws in your own country before opening an account.
