What you can download
Weltrade works through several tools, and beginners often mix them up. The Weltrade mobile app is the broker's own app for account management. MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 are separate platforms made by MetaQuotes, and you connect them to your Weltrade account using a login, a trading password and a server name. A web terminal is also available in many setups, so you may not need to install anything.
Auron FX is an independent guide and not the official Weltrade website. We cannot send you a file, and we do not host apps. The safest path is an official store or the link inside your Weltrade Personal Area. The download button below takes you to the partner page.
Check that Weltrade is available in your country first
Before you install anything, make sure you are allowed to open an account. The Weltrade legal page lists India, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, EU member states, Russia, Belarus, Iran and North Korea among the countries where its services are not available. If you live in one of them, do not install the app with a fake address. The account would be frozen when you try to withdraw. Our Weltrade review explains the regulation and the country limits.
Weltrade app for Android
Open Google Play on your phone and search for the app you need, such as MetaTrader 5 or the Weltrade app. Check that the publisher is the right company, and look at the number of installs and the update date. Tap Install and wait for the download to finish.
If an app is not visible in your country, open the download link from inside your Personal Area, where Weltrade shows what is available for your region. Some people look for a Weltrade APK file on random sites. Do not do this. A modified APK can steal your password and your funds. Install a file from outside Google Play only if it comes from your own Weltrade account, and switch "install from unknown sources" off again afterwards.
Weltrade app for iPhone and iPad
Open the App Store, search for MetaTrader or the Weltrade app, and install it. If the app does not appear, the cause is usually your App Store region. Changing the country of an Apple account affects subscriptions and payment methods, so check the Apple rules before you change it. A simpler option is to use the web terminal in your phone browser.
MT4 and MT5: install and choose the server
Download MetaTrader from the links in your Personal Area. The installation is simple, but the login step is where most mistakes happen. Follow these steps.
- Open your Weltrade Personal Area and select the trading account you want to use. Note the account number (login), the trading password and the server name.
- Install MT4 or MT5 on your computer or phone and start it.
- Choose "Login to trade account" or "Open an account", and search for the server name from your Personal Area. Copy the exact name for your account.
- Enter the login and the trading password, then press OK. The terminal should show a connection at the bottom of the window.
- Check that prices are moving, and use a demo account first if you are only testing.
MT4 works only with MT4 accounts and MT5 works only with MT5 accounts. If your account was created for one platform, you cannot log in to it from the other. Ask support in your Personal Area if you are not sure which one you have, or open a second account of the other type.
Windows, Mac and web terminal
For Windows, download the MetaTrader installer from your Personal Area. Mac users can use MetaTrader 5 for macOS if it is offered, or a web terminal. The web terminal needs only a browser, which makes it a good fallback if you cannot install software on a work computer. For help with your first account, see our Weltrade registration guide and the MT4 and MT5 comparison.
| Platform | Device | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Weltrade app | Android, iOS | Account management and quick access; check availability in your store |
| MetaTrader 4 | Windows, Android, iOS, web | Simple, popular, many indicators and robots |
| MetaTrader 5 | Windows, Mac, Android, iOS, web | More timeframes and order types |
| Web terminal | Browser | No installation required |
Using a demo account in the app
You can create a demo account in your Personal Area and connect to it with its own login and demo server. Demo accounts use virtual money, so they are a safe way to learn the order window, stop loss and take profit. Spreads and execution on a demo account can differ from a real account, so do not treat demo results as a promise of real results. Some accounts, such as the SyntX account with synthetic instruments, work differently from normal forex pairs, so practise on the exact account type that you plan to use.
Common errors and quick fixes
- Invalid account: the login, password or server name does not match. Copy the server name exactly from your Personal Area.
- No connection: check your internet, switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data, or try another server from the list. Some networks block trading ports.
- Server not found: in MT5, search by the exact server name and scan for servers again. Update the app if the list is empty.
- Wrong password: the trading password differs from your Personal Area password. Reset it from the account menu.
- App not working after an update: restart the phone, clear the app cache, or reinstall from the official store.
- Account not found after registering: wait a few minutes, refresh the Personal Area and check that you created a trading account and not only a profile.
The app may also not work well on very old operating systems. Update your phone or computer if you can.
First steps after installing the app
Once you are logged in, spend ten minutes on the settings before placing any order. Set a strong passcode or fingerprint lock on your phone, turn on extra security for your Personal Area if it is offered, and check which account is active, because a demo and a real account can look almost the same on a small screen. Many beginners place a trade on the wrong account for exactly this reason.
Open a chart of one instrument you know, such as EUR/USD or gold, and look at the bid and ask prices. The gap between them is the spread. Try the order window on the demo account, set a stop loss and a take profit, and close the trade again. Learn what the lot size means before you use real money, because a larger lot moves your balance faster in both directions. Our guide to lots and leverage explains the numbers in plain words.
Keep the app updated, because old versions can lose connection to the server. Avoid trading on public Wi-Fi without a secure connection, and log out on shared devices.
Download safety
Use only Google Play, the App Store or links from your own Personal Area. Avoid "hacked", "mod" or "premium unlocked" versions, "profit bots" and files sent in Telegram groups, because they are a common route for stealing accounts. Use a unique password, and never share one-time codes with anyone who claims to be Weltrade support.
